Terrific Triathlon!

Have you ever been part of something that makes you feel so good inside and out! That is how I felt after experiencing our first annual Splash & Dash Family Triathlon.

It was such an honor to be a part of an event where our community families and businesses pulled together to help the Snyder family. Watching Ken & Ann Snyder hold the tape at the finish line as everyone cheered on the runners was absolutely heartwarming. As you will notice in the photos, we had over 50 participants ranging in age from 4 to older than 44. The quote of the day goes to Janessa Daines, age 7 "That was Awesome- can I do it again." Everyone is looking forward to next years event with plans underway to move the date to earlier in June.

The triathlon is not only a great physical workout but how you feel emotionally after completing is amazing. It really is a great confidence builder and inspires you to want to do more.

We would like to thank all of the participants for being part of the Splash & Dash and all of those who donated to the Snyder Family. Included is a letter from Amy Snyder expressing her thanks as well.

Also, a big thanks goes out to all our fellow sponsors: Perry City, Sumko Bitner Orthopaedic Clinic, Cover Up, The Print Shop, Heritage West Title, BE News & Journal, Body Needs Chiropractic, Bear River mental Health, Youth Empowerment Team, The UPS Store, Wal-Mart, Dr Clark Andersen Orthodontics, Loveland Cycle, Smiths, amp;

Special thanks go out to all of the Peak gymnasts, cheerleaders & tumblers for volunteering at the triathlon.

We look forward to next year and also seeing your comments and posts!
